Children’s Ministries: It’s as easy as 1-2-3!
For those new to our church, we want you to feel welcome and make it as easy as we can for you to navigate our children’s ministries program. Here is the process for getting your children where they need to go on Sundays at Bethany:
1. Check in your child – When you arrive, stop at the Check-in Center in the church foyer (pictured above). You will receive a label with your child’s name and their assigned call number on it for your child, and a parent pick-up label for you to hold on to.
2. Drop off your child – Nursery/Toddler drop-off (ages 0-2) is “backstage” through the sanctuary. Preschool-4th Grade will be dismissed from the service after worship. Parents of preschoolers (ages 3-5) can drop their children off at their designated classroom upstairs. K-4th Grade children (ages 6-11) go across the driveway to their classroom on the basement level of the college building. To hear more about our efforts to help children cross safely, see THIS SHORT VIDEO. Teachers do their best to monitor the journey between buildings, but parents are always welcome to accompany their children for drop-off as well. 3. Pick up your child – Present your parent pick-up label to the children’s ministries volunteer at your child’s area of ministry after the service.
NOTE: Please feel free to ask any of our greeters or volunteers at the Check-in Center for further clarification on our procedures.
